Biography

Marianne Levac obtained her master's degree in physiotherapy from Laval University in 2012. Owner of the Action Sport Physio Saint-Eustache/Deux-Montagnes clinic, she accomplishes her work by juggling the management of her wonderful team as well as physiotherapy.

Certified in sports physiotherapy, Marianne is greatly appreciated by her clientele thanks to her understanding and listening approach. She has completed her levels 1-2 and her superior level 3 in manual therapy from the Association québécoise de physiothérapie manuelle orthopédique and has her OPPQ certification for spinal manipulation. She has also taken several training courses on running, exercise programs and injuries in endurance sports and will be happy to evaluate your running biomechanics in order to help you reach your goals. She is also certified by the OPPQ to prescribe x-rays.

Marianne has also completed the basic training in the evaluation and treatment of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) in physiotherapy to treat jaw disorders. Marianne is certified with CCMI (Complete Concussion Management) in the evaluation and treatment of concussions and has successfully completed her vestibular rehabilitation training to give you all the tools you need for your recovery. Her experience in physiotherapy allows her to treat all types of injuries, sports and non-sports, and she can see children (5 years and older), adults and seniors.

Marianne covers various sporting events in the Deux-Montagnes MRC region. She enjoys being involved in her community. She is also a supervisor of Master 1 and 2 internships for the University of Montreal and McGill to give back to her profession by teaching future physiotherapists.

She has a passion for snowboarding and regularly practices running, road cycling, soccer and cross-country skiing.
