Biography

Who is Latin Olivier?

I’ve been a physiotherapist since 2012. I am a father and a family man. I love to spend time with my family playing fun games, watching TV and just relaxing at home. In my spare time, I love to read books (mostly personal development and psychology books). I also love to hike, run, and train at the gym regularly to stay healthy both physically and mentally. My dream is to make sure that I can help people both on a personal and professional level, and hopefully I achieve this on a regular basis.

Training and professional skills:

Ever since my youth, I have always loved sports and physical activities. This passion led me to study health science at Vanier college, and then I attended McGill University where I successfully completed my bachelor’s and master’s degree in physical therapy in 2012.

Here is an overview of my certifications:

  • Taping courses (2013):  teaches how to apply supportive adhesive/ K tape techniques to stabilize joints, reduce pain, and enhance movement in clinical or athletic settings
  • Level 2 upper quadrant manual therapy (2014): builds on basic skills to assess and treat  Upper quadrant musculoskeletal conditions using more advanced hands-on techniques
  • Level 2 lower quadrant manual therapy (2015):  builds on basic skills to assess and treat Lower musculoskeletal conditions using more advanced hands-on techniques
  • APTEI program courses (2016-108):  provides structured postgraduate training in advanced orthopedic assessment and manual therapy techniques for physiotherapists.
  • TMJ course program (2023): teaches clinicians how to assess and treat jaw  (temporomandibular joint) disorders using targeted manual and therapeutic techniques.
  • Level 3 Lower quadrant manual therapy (2026):  focuses on advanced clinical reasoning and complex manual therapy techniques for managing higher-level musculoskeletal cases.
