Frédérick Lafrance-Tanguay

Frédérick Lafrance-Tanguay completed his bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Montreal in 2012. He then pursued a master's degree, focusing on running as a research subject. In 2013, following his graduation, he became a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec and joined the Action Sport Physio St-Leonard team. In 2016, he became the owner of Action Sport Physio Maisonneuve-Rosemont, located in the heart of Montreal.

In order to keep his knowledge up to date, Frédérick is currently pursuing his training in manual therapy with the Association québécoise de physiothérapie manuelle orthopédique (AQPMO) in addition to taking courses on motor control as well as physiotherapeutic puncture with dry needles. He has also completed and received his certification for the CCM program (Complete Concussion Management) and the ReACT concussion program dealing with concussion managment. With these certificates, he is interested in the treatment and care of athletes, young or adult, who have suffered a concussion. Finally, he is part of the rehabilitation team for the Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Program.

Passionate about sports, Frédérick practices golf, tennis, hockey cosom, running, and skiing.
