Biography

Who is Frédérick?

I am passionate about sports and movement and have been working as a physiotherapist for over ten years. I’ve had the privilege of being the clinic owner at Action Sport Physio Maisonneuve Rosemont since 2016, after starting my career at the St-Léonard location. I enjoy supporting my patients in their recovery—whether they are athletes, workers, youth, or seniors. Outside of the clinic, I’m an active sports enthusiast who enjoys golf, tennis, floor hockey, running, and skiing. I believe in staying up to date with the latest knowledge, both to improve my clinical practice and to better support the people I work with every day.

Training and professional skills

I completed my bachelor's degree in physiotherapy at Université de Montréal in 2012, followed by a professional master's program with a research focus on running. I’ve been a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec since 2013. I remain actively involved in professional development, particularly in concussion management, and I’m part of the Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Program team.

Here is an overview of my certifications:

  • Manual Therapy (AQPMO): Ongoing training in joint mobilization techniques.
  • Motor Control: Approach focused on stability and optimal movement.
  • Physiotherapy Dry Needling: Use of dry needles in physiotherapy.
  • CCMI (Complete Concussion Management): Concussion care and treatment.
  • reACT (Athlete Concussion Treatment): Athlete-specific concussion recovery.
