Biography
Who is Emmanuelle?
I have been practicing massage therapy for over five years now. I have also been involved in sports since the age of six, with soccer and basketball playing a significant role throughout my childhood. Today, I enjoy playing volleyball along with several other sports recreationally, including badminton, snowboarding, tennis, and more. I appreciate team sports because they foster communication, collaboration, and teamwork while keeping me active and motivated. In my free time, I also enjoy reading and playing video games, as they are excellent ways for me to relax, stimulate my creativity, and disconnect from everyday life. I am naturally introverted, though I truly enjoy social interactions once I feel comfortable in my environment.
Training and professional skills
I obtained my diploma as a Massage Therapy Practitioner in 2021. I then completed my training as a Sports Massage and Kinesitherapy Specialist in 2022. Both programs were completed at the Académie de Massage Scientifique campus in Montreal. Throughout my training, I had the opportunity to learn and apply various techniques, including cupping therapy, neuro-proprioceptive taping, and myofascial flossing.
Here is an overview of my certifications:
- Praticien en massothérapie: This training focuses on delivering relaxation massage techniques with the goal of promoting deep physical and mental relaxation, calming the nervous system, and releasing accumulated tension.
- Masso-kinésithérapeute spécialisation sportif: The Sports Massage and Kinesitherapy specialization aims to prevent, treat, and support the rehabilitation of injuries related to physical activity, in order to optimize recovery and athletic performance.
- Massothérapie avancée spécialisation anti-stress : The training enables the use of adapted massage techniques to reduce both physical and mental tension, promote relaxation, and enhance overall well-being.
