Biography
B.Sc. Pht
Emily Caire received her Bachelor's degree from Laval University in 2010. She is a member of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothérapie du Québec (OPPQ).
Throughout her training as a physiotherapist, Emily was fortunate to be able to follow different sports teams as a trainer, including the CNDF AA College Football team in Cap-Rouge and the Quebec Volleyball team at the Canada Games. She has also covered several elite soccer and basketball teams providing emergency care and first aid.
It was therefore natural for her to want to go into private practice at the end of her studies in order to help as many people as possible regain their full abilities. Thus, during the first years of her career, Emily worked with private patients as well as military personnel on the Valcartier Military Base. She oriented her profession towards this clientele by taking various continuing education courses in manual therapy to perfect her practice.
She then developed another field of expertise, pediatrics. She followed several trainings as well as mentoring with physiotherapists from Ste-Justine Hospital. Her experience and her love for children allow her to quickly create a bond of trust with them, optimizing and facilitating the treatment of various conditions ranging from congenital torticollis to developmental delay and fractures.
More recently, Emily has been trained in Shock Wave technology to treat a variety of chronic conditions.
A recent member of the Action Sport Physio team, Emily will be happy to answer all your questions and offer you the best treatments for any condition.
