Biography

Who is Christopher ?

I’m a physiotherapist, certified athletic therapist and owner of Action Sport Physio Rivière-des-Prairies. My journey at Action Sport Physio began in 2009 and has shaped the way I approach care today—with dedication, integrity, and a strong connection to the community. I’m passionate about helping people overcome injuries, return to what they love, and feel confident in their bodies again. Supporting patients, athletes, and performers through their recovery is something I take great pride in.

Training and professional skills

I earned my Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McGill University in 2016 and am a licensed physiotherapist with the OPPQ and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Therapy from Concordia University, completed in 2013. My background includes extensive experience in sports medicine, orthopaedics, strength and conditioning, and paediatric orthopaedics, from newborns to adolescents.

Here is an overview of my certifications :
  •  Concussion Management According to CCMI: Evidence-based assessment and treatment of concussions to support safe recovery and return to activity.
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Comprehensive Introduction & Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation: Assessment and treatment of dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders.
  • TMJ Anatomy and Pathology: Occlusal Stability and a Myofascial Approach: Evaluation and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction using a myofascial-based approach.
  • Injury Prevention and Biomechanical Running Analysis (La Clinique du Coureur): Assessment of running technique and movement patterns to improve efficiency, reduce injury risk, and support a safe return to running.
  • McKenzie Method Parts A & B – Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Spine: Evaluation and treatment approach focused on neck and back conditions to improve movement and reduce pain.
  • Advanced Biomechanics of the Upper and Lower Body: In-depth analysis of movement patterns to optimize function, performance, and injury prevention.

“My goal is to offer every patient the highest quality of care, while building a clinic rooted in trust, excellence, and long-term health.”
