Biography
Bernardo first obtained a B.A. (Honours) in Psychology at the University of Manitoba before graduating from a Master's in Occupational Therapy at McGill University. He's a member of l'Ordre des Ergothérapeutes du Québec as well as the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. It was this rich background that drove him to work with a variety of different clients. In his years as a clinician, Bernardo has worked with patients from all walks of life: from the elderly to veterans, workers and people with disabilities.
Since 2019, Bernardo has helped those suffering from work and road accidents get back to what matters to them; be it through exercise, work simulation or home adaptations. Throughout the years, he has deepened his knowledge of mental and physical rehabilitation, which has given him a holistic perspective to recovery.
In his free time, Bernardo devotes his energy to his family, which includes a beautiful Cardigan Corgi named Azula! He dabbles on the piano and has danced Salsa for many years. He loves all things sci-fi, epic fantasy, and D&D.
