Biography
Who is Aurélie?
Aurélie Salvas is a physical therapist who is passionate about movement and the overall well-being of her patients. She supports each person with attentiveness, rigor, and kindness in order to promote an optimal return to daily, professional, or athletic activities.
She completed her master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Sherbrooke in 2018. Since then, she has adopted a personalized approach based on comprehensive assessment and evidence-based interventions. She combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education to offer sustainable solutions tailored to each individual's goals.
Committed to providing care at the cutting edge of current knowledge, Aurélie regularly pursues continuing education, particularly in manual therapy, treatment of knee pathologies, management of running-related injuries, jaw rehabilitation (TMJ), and the McKenzie approach to lumbar issues. This expertise allows her to offer targeted and effective interventions to an active and diverse clientele.
A former gymnast and ultra-trail runner, Aurélie has a practical understanding of the physical and mental demands of sport. Her personal experience feeds into her professional practice: she knows the importance of a safe return to training, appropriate progression, and effective injury prevention.
Convinced that understanding the body is essential to healing, she takes the time to explain the condition, treatment plan, and prevention strategies. Her goal is to help her patients regain confidence in their bodies, reduce their pain, and improve their quality of life in the long term.
Her compassionate, active, and autonomy-oriented approach makes her a valuable ally on your journey to wellness.
