Biography

Alixe-Yanne is a physiotherapist who obtained her master's degree from Université Laval in 2023, with a specialization in sports therapy. She treats patients of all ages with musculoskeletal disorders.  

With a keen interest in sports physiotherapy, she has tinged her university career with a number of grassroots involvements with teams in the Quebec City region, especially in soccer (collegiate D3 Mérici, high school D4 PAL) and field hockey (school PAL, school and LHEQ SSF). She is also sporadically involved with many other sports, such as gymnastics, basketball, rugby, volleyball... 

She is currently involved with local sports teams, notably the Cégep de St-Jérôme.  

Alixe-Yanne has a keen interest in concussions, having even submitted her master's project on the subject to CASEM in 2024. She has completed her CCMI training and is therefore able to support patients in the management of their concussion.  

Having been a sportswoman herself, she is keen to help her patients achieve their full potential in both everyday life and sports. She describes herself as positive, empathetic and hard-working, and will be happy to support you if you need it.
