André completed his master's degree in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal in 2011. He discovered his passion for sports injuries while practicing taekwondo for several years. Since then, he took a course as a sports first respondant in order to involve himself further in sports. In fact, he followed the Carabins de Montréal men's volleyball team for a year.
