Isabelle Charest Physiotherapist

Isabelle graduated from the University of Montreal with a Master's degree in physiotherapy in 2016. She began her career at the Claude-Robillard Sports Physiotherapy Clinic in Quebec. Her interest in sports physiotherapy was confirmed at that time.

Wanting to refine her path in this field, she obtained her certification in sports physiotherapy by Sport Physiotherapy Canada in 2018 in addition to completing her first responder certification in sports. She is also completing her training in concussion management as well as vestibular rehabilitation, as she believes in ensuring an optimal return both at the athletic and academic levels. She is also recently certified in dry needling physiotherapy puncture (DNPP) and has her X-ray prescription certification. In the coming years, she wishes to continue her training in manual therapy from the Association québécoise de physiothérapie manuelle orthopédique, of which she has completed levels 1, 2 and 3.

For the past 7 years, Isabelle has been the head physiotherapist for the A.S. Blainville men's semi-professional team, which has participated in the Canadian Soccer Championships on numerous occasions. In the past, she has been involved with Futsal Canada in a selection camp, with the Quebec Handball teams and now with the Quebec Acrobatic Ski Federation. She continues her involvement with young athletes as a member of the Conseil du développement de l'excellence sportive Laurentides (CDESL).

Passionate herself about sports and the outdoors, she practices a multitude of activities including road biking, snowboarding and most recently triathlon.
