Alex Bissonnette Physiotherapist

Alex Bissonnette graduated in 2016 with a master's degree in physiotherapy from McGill University. In addition to being a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, he is also a certified member of the Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec (OPPQ).

In 2014 Alex joined the Action Sport Physio team as a physiotherapy assistant and, since January 2017, he has been working there as a registered physiotherapist. His objective is to apply the best possible quality of care and provide his clients with the best tools to optimize their recovery. Not only does he put emphasis on active listening for his patients, but he also uses an approach promoting effective management of their problems while working and assisting them during their rehabilitation.

During the upcoming year, Alex would like to continue his training in the orthopedic field in advanced manual therapy by completing his upper and lower quadrant levels 3 with the Quebec Association of Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (AQPMA). In addition, he would like to improve his knowledge of thoracic issues, as well as be certified in the Comprehensive Concussion Management Program (CCMI).

Passionate about sports and orthopedic medicine, Alex likes to promote an active lifestyle adapted to the needs of his patients, while guiding them to a gradual personalized return to their sports activities.
