Graduating in 2016, Alex Bissonnette obtained a Master's degree in Physiotherapy from McGill University. In addition to being a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, he is also a certified member of the Quebec Professional Order of Physiotherapy (OPPQ).
In 2014, Alex joined the Action Sport Physio team as a physiotherapy assistant and since January 2017, he has been working as a registered physiotherapist at Action Sport Physio. His goal is to apply the best possible quality of care and provide his patients with the best tools to optimize their recovery. Not only does he promote active listening with his patients, but he also uses an approach that promotes effective management of their problems while working with and assisting them during their rehabilitation.
For the next year, Alex would like to continue his training in the orthopaedic field in manual therapy, improve his knowledge of thoracic problems, and be certified in the Comprehensive Concussion Management Program (CCMI).
Passionate about sports medicine and orthopaedics, Alex likes to promote an active lifestyle adapted to the needs of his patients, while guiding them to a progressive personalized return to their sports activities.
