A lifelong sportswoman, and after suffering several injuries herself, Valérie decided to undertake the Bac-Master's degree in Physiotherapy at Laval University, which she completed in 2017.
During her studies, Valérie worked as a receptionist in several private physiotherapy clinics. She has therefore been involved in the field for several years. After obtaining her certification as a Sport First Responder, she was also involved as a trainer with the ÉTS men's university rugby team for three years. She now follows one of the Collège Charles-Lemoyne soccer teams in addition to treating in their school clinic. She has treated athletes from many other sports including handball, basketball, soccer, dragon boat and gymnastics. She has played handball herself for over 12 years and now focuses on rock climbing, yoga and hiking.
Since her beginnings as a physiotherapist, Valérie has been aiming to perfect her knowledge with the help of several trainings including manual therapy. Having completed one year in the Kinesiology program at the University of Montreal, she also has a good base in terms of exercises to adapt a personalized program for her clientele. She dreams of specializing in the treatment of vestibular disorders and concussions.
This therapist will be able to accompany you and team up with you in your rehabilitation with her energy, contagious laughter and a lot of empathy. She will know how to invest herself in your goals while keeping in mind her guiding principle: helping people's well-being.
